Job summary

Cemex US invites current college students to join the Cement Internship Development Program, a 10-week, May-start immersive experience across Cement Manufacturing, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Equipment Maintenance, Production Process, and Data Management.

As an IDP intern, you will work on safety, hands-on projects, skill building, and networking with leaders, gaining exposure to real operations and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in a listed engineering field with at least junior year standing.
• GPA 2.5+; preference for 3.0+.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities and proactive problem-solving.
• Strong analytical and communication abilities; able to present ideas clearly.
• Candidates with up to 2 years of relevant heavy/manufacturing industry experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help promote a safe working environment as part of daily operations.
• Engage in hands-on, project-based experiences across Cement operations.
• Develop technical and soft skills through real-world tasks and learning opportunities.
