Job summary

Cemex US offers a Cement Internship Development Program designed for current college students. This 10-week, on-site internship starts in May and covers Cement Manufacturing, Process Improvements, Quality and Reliability, Equipment Maintenance, Production, and Data Management.

You will work on real projects with experienced professionals, gaining practical exposure and building your professional network. Expect a full-time schedule Monday–Friday, with a mix of office and field environments.

Qualifications

  • Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in engineering with junior year standing.
  • GPA of 2.5 or above (3.0+ preferred).
  • Leadership and proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Strong communication and analytical abilities.
  • Up to 2 years' experience in heavy/manufacturing settings.

Responsibilities

  • Safety is the core focus across Cemex operations and internship tasks.
  • Engage in project-based experiences on cement operations.
  • Develop technical and soft skills through hands-on work.
  • Share project outcomes with leadership and refine presentation skills.
  • Build networks across the organization for future career growth.
