RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company, invites applications for a Cell Leader in the Cold Section Module Center (CSMC) in Middletown, CT. You will supervise a team of skilled bargaining unit employees, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety, quality, production, and cost objectives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related field.
• Associate’s degree with 7+ years in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related field.
• High School Diploma/GED with 9+ years of experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, quality, or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including proficiency in Excel.

Responsabilités

• Provide direction and guidance to skilled bargaining unit employees.
• Lead employee engagement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts aligned with organizational objectives.
• Drive sustained improvements in safety, quality, production, material procurement, and cost reduction through established systems and processes.
• Perform daily supervisory responsibilities, including managing attendance, approving timecards, and overseeing project execution.
• Establish and maintain work schedules based on customer requirements, resource availability, and operational priorities.
• Facilitate team-building activities, conduct toolbox meetings, and foster effective communication to develop a cohesive and responsive team.
• Address operational challenges and engage employees in achieving cell performance goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction by leveraging CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) operating systems.
• Promote and uphold a commitment to safety, quality, and environmental health standards.
