Job summary

Millbrook Healthcare Group in Abingdon, Oxfordshire, invites applications for a Ceiling Track Hoist Engineer. You will install ceiling track hoists and hand over community equipment to service users at their homes or other locations, following Millbrook procedures.

The role also covers removals, repairs, maintaining van stock, and conducting joint visit surveys with Occupational Therapists. A background in carpentry, electronics or engineering is advantageous, and a full UK driving licence is

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry, electronics or engineering is advantageous.
• ISO9002 experience or knowledge of quality procedures is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install ceiling track hoists and handover equipment to service users at their home or other locations, scanned into the system.
• Remove and collect hoists, stair lifts, and scan returns to quarantine on return to the service centre.
• Carry out repairs when scheduled and arrange replacements using established procedures.
• Maintain van stock levels and ensure spare parts are scanned to the correct job number.
• Carry out joint visit surveys with Occupational Therapists.
