Job summary

Savaria Patient Care seeks an Installation & Service Technician to install, service, and perform preventive maintenance on Handicare products across the U.S. The role requires site surveys, audits, and frequent coordination with hospitals, long-term care facilities, and private residences.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience, OSHA certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3–5 years of related experience or training, preferably in building construction, mechanical, electrical and plumbing methods.
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification required; OSHA 30 Hour Certification preferred.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with minimal driving infractions.

Responsibilities

• Install Handicare ceiling track lift systems and related products per Handicare standards.
• Perform on-site surveys at prospective sites to plan installations.
• Conduct on-site audits to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Coordinate delivery of products and installation materials to align with labor resources.
• Travel to out-of-state job sites as directed, up to 80% of the time.
