Job summary

Lynn Rodens is seeking an Installation & Service Technician in Orlando to install and maintain ceiling-track patient lift systems in hospitals and long-term care facilities. The role requires hands-on mechanical work, travel to project sites, and training staff on equipment operation.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, 3–5 years of related experience, OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 a plus), and a valid U.S. driver’s license. Per diem travel and full-time hours are included.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of construction, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, installation, or related experience.
• OSHA 10 preferred; OSHA 30 is a strong plus.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Install ceiling-track lift systems and related patient-handling equipment.
• Conduct site surveys and review construction drawings and room layouts.
• Audit installations to confirm quality, safety, and company standards.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, storage, subcontractors, and project documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Train hospital and long-term care staff on proper equipment operation.
• Maintain an organized company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
• Travel to regional and out-of-state project sites, including overnight travel.
