Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Lift Engineer to carry out call-outs, repairs and planned maintenance on a wide range of passenger and goods lifts in Norwich. The role is permanent with standard hours and an on-call rota. Up to £48,000 per year.

Applicants should hold an NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or equivalent), have demonstrable lift servicing experience, and a full UK driving licence with willingness to travel. A company vehicle and tools are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrable experience as Lift Engineer with servicing and repairs.
• Strong knowledge of lift systems and safety standards.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned maintenance, fault diagnosis, and repairs across a variety of lifts and stairlifts
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and call-out requests, ensuring minimal downtime for customers
• Complete thorough risk assessments and accurately update site records
• Take part in the on-call rota, including standby duties and emergency call-outs

• Complete thorough risk assessments and accurately update site records and log cards

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering (or an equivalent recognised qualification)
• Demonstrable experience working as a Lift Engineer, including servicing and repairs
• Strong knowledge of lift systems, safety standards, and industry best practices
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel
