Job summary

Accura Engineering is seeking a CEI Inspector to perform construction engineering and inspection services for roadway, bridge, and transportation projects in Georgia. The role involves field inspections, material verification, documentation, and supporting project engineers through the construction process.

The position requires reading plans, ensuring compliance with standards, and coordinating with project teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1.5–3 years of progressive transportation technician or construction inspection experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contract documents.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent inspections of roadway and bridge construction activities to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
• Inspect materials and workmanship including asphalt, concrete, and structural components.
• Maintain project documentation and reports; support project engineers and management.
• Supervise inspectors and participate in project meetings and reviews.
• Communicate effectively with teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
