Luster is seeking a CEI Inspector I to provide Construction, Engineering, and Inspection services for transportation projects in Georgia. The role supports higher level inspectors and engineers on highway and bridge construction inspections, performed under supervision, with potential for varied locations.

The position is long-term, full-time, onsite, with the initial area along SR 400 north of Atlanta. Requires 1.5+ years CEI experience, GA licenseed driving, and GDOT certifications

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required for entry.
• 1.5+ years as a CEI Inspector with highway/bridge exposure.
• Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment in highway work.
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain construction plans and specs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.

Responsabilités

• Perform independent complex inspections of roadways and structures.
• Supervise other inspectors on routine inspections as needed.
• Inspect materials, pavement, and geometrics for conformance to plans.
• Prepare and review contract documentation and field measurements.
• Contribute to calculations and computations as required.
