Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Cyber & Cross Domain Solution (CDS) Systems Engineer to support the MSEIT contract at Space Systems Command (SSC). The role focuses on defining, evaluating, integrating, and supporting secure data movement and cybersecurity strategies across IL5, IL6, air-gapped mission systems, and the Mission Partner Environment (MPE).

Responsibilities include CDS strategy, architecture, cyber security integration, CI/CD remediation, and collaboration with government stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, information systems or related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience supporting cybersecurity, cross-domain solutions, secure system integration, or mission assurance activities within DoD environments.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, define, and support implementation of CDSs across multiple security domains.
• Assess existing and emerging CDS technologies including data diodes and cloud-native security.
• Coordinate data movement strategies across IL5/IL6, air-gapped systems, and MPE.
• Support cybersecurity integration with software, DevSecOps, and operations teams.
• Improve CI/CD vulnerability remediation processes and CVE management workflows.
• Contribute to cyber strategy, mission assurance, and PPP discussions.
• Interface with government leadership and multiple technical teams to align cybersecurity with mission goals.
