Job summary

KBR is seeking an experienced Cyber & Cross Domain Solution (CDS) Systems Engineer to support the MSEIT contract at Space Systems Command. This role defines, evaluates, and supports secure data movement and cybersecurity strategies across multiple mission environments including IL5, IL6, air-gapped systems and MPE.

The position requires DoD experience in CDS, cloud-native security, CI/CD, and mission assurance activities, with strong stakeholder coordination across technical and Government

Qualifications

• DoD Secret clearance (or ability to obtain)
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, physics, information systems or related field
• 10+ years in cybersecurity, cross-domain solutions, secure system integration, or mission assurance within DoD environments
• Strong CDS knowledge and secure data movement architectures
• Experience across multiple classified and mission networks
• Familiarity with IL5/IL6, air-gapped systems, and MPE
• DevSecOps experience and modern software delivery practices
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and vulnerability management
• Cyber strategy, mission assurance, or PPP experience
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination across technical and government teams
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

Responsibilities

• Define, evaluate, and support CDS strategy across security domains.
• Assess CDS technologies including data diodes and cloud-native capabilities.
• Support data movement and integration across IL5/IL6, air-gapped, and MPE environments.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing enterprise services and new CDS capabilities.
• Collaborate with software, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams to align cybersecurity with mission goals.
• Support CI/CD vulnerability remediation and CVE management workflows.
• Contribute to cyber strategy, roadmaps, and mission assurance activities.
• Assist PPP activities, risk assessments, and system protection discussions.
• Coordinate with cyber organizations and government leadership to ensure alignment across the program.
