Job summary

KBR, Inc. is seeking an experienced Cyber & Cross Domain Solution (CDS) Systems Engineer to support SSC and the MSEIT contract at Space Systems Command. This role focuses on defining, evaluating, integrating, and supporting secure data movement and cybersecurity strategies across multiple mission and operational environments supporting U.S.

Space Force capabilities. The position requires 10+ years in DoD cybersecurity, CDS, and secure system integration, with strong communication and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, CS, math, physics, information systems or related field.
• 10+ years in DoD cybersecurity, CDS, secure system integration, or mission assurance.
• Strong CDS knowledge and secure data movement architectures.
• Experience across IL5/IL6 and air-gapped systems.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines and vulnerabilities remediation.
• Clear communication and stakeholder coordination across teams.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Cross Domain Solution Strategy – Evaluate, define, and support CDS implementations.
• CDS Architecture Support – Assess CDS tech incl data diodes, cloud-native capabilities.
• Multi-Domain Coordination – Support data movement across IL5/IL6, air-gapped systems, MPE.
• Technology Evaluation – Identify opportunities to leverage enterprise services and new CDS capabilities.
• Cybersecurity Integration – Align security requirements with mission delivery across teams.
• CI/CD Vulnerability Remediation – Improve CVE management and secure software delivery.
• Cyber Strategy Support – Develop cyber strategies and roadmaps for the program.
• Program Protection Planning – Contribute to PPP, risk assessments and system protection.
• Cyber Exercise Participation – Support COOP and readiness events.
• Stakeholder Coordination – Interface with cyber, government and software teams.
