Job summary

Lifecore Biomedical, Inc. in Chaska, MN, seeks a Project Manager to lead complex client programs within our CDMO. This onsite role partners with cross-functional teams and external clients to bring biotech and medical device products from concept through commercialization.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science, 2-5 years of PM experience in technical or regulated settings, and familiarity with CDMO processes and cGMPs. CAPM/PMP is preferred and relocation is not indicated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering or Science preferred.
• 2-5 years of project management experience leading cross-functional teams in a technical or regulated environment.
• Experience managing client-facing projects and building effective stakeholder relationships.
• Technical experience with manufacturing, production, or product development processes; CDMO experience preferred.
• Medical Device and/or Pharmaceutical cGMP experience preferred.
• Solid understanding and practical application of project management principles, methodology, and tools.
• Demonstrated success onboarding new projects and clients while managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple projects through planning, execution, monitoring, and completion while coordinating cross-functional internal teams and external client stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client programs, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment on project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation and knowledge resources for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Drive project schedules, milestones, risks, and issue resolution to support successful project outcomes.
• Communicate project status, business impacts, and key milestones to clients, team members, and leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure project objectives are achieved while meeting quality, regulatory, and business requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Science

CAPM or PMP certification preferred
