Job summary

Century HCC is seeking a Full Time Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to oversee dietary services in a skilled nursing setting in Pennsylvania. Role includes scheduling, staff training, budget oversight, and ensuring food safety and sanitation.

The candidate should have a CDM certification, at least 1 year in food service management in skilled nursing, and be available for evenings and weekends. Proficiency with Excel/Word and inventory management is expected.

Qualifications

• CDM certification required.
• 1 year experience in food service management in skilled nursing.
• Evening and weekend availability as needed.
• Able to lift and carry more than 50 lbs.
• Intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staff to cover shifts.
• Train, coach, evaluate, reward, and when necessary, discipline employees.
• Manage and monitor budgets and revenue services.
• Assure safe receiving, storage, preparation, and service of food.
• Prepare cleaning schedules and maintain equipment to ensure food safety and sanitation.
• Participate in Resident Care Plan Meetings and QAPI Program.
• Attend Resident Food Council Meetings
• Support Registered Dietitian duties as needed.
• Knowledge of Excel and Word
• Knowledge of food purchasing/inventory.
