Job summary

Autumnwood of McBain in McBain, MI is seeking a Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) to bridge the clinical dietetics team and the kitchen, ensuring meals meet dietary needs and texture requirements while remaining appetizing and nutritious.

You will lead menu development, supervise dietary operations, and collaborate with other departments to honor guests' preferences. A CDM certification or enrollment is required, with ServSafe within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Certified Dietary Manager Certification or current enrollment in a DMA-approved certification course.
• ServSafe Certification required within 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two-year supervised food service experience in an institutional setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete diet history/food preference screening upon guest admission.
• Develop and implement menus tailored to guest populations.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness per state and federal guidelines.
• Supervise dietary department purchasing within the facility budget.
• Manage kitchen operations including procurement, sanitation, scheduling, training, and talent development.
• Cooperate with other departments to identify and accommodate guests’ choices, preferences and routines.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation of dietary portion of guest care plans.
