Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is hiring a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt, courteous waste removal for customers.

You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily VCRs, and report any issues to keep downtime to a minimum. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to DOT regulations, and active participation in safety programs, with a unionized environment and benefits.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• DOT position; union position.
• Experience with pre/post trip inspections is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy truck along assigned route and service customers.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor according to safety policies.
• Interface with customers, dispatchers and supervisors professionally.
• Complete route productivity sheets and daily VCRs.
• Maintain adherence to productivity standards and safety policies.
