Job summary

GFL is seeking a Residential Driver to safely and efficiently provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes. You will operate fully automated side loading trucks, perform inspections, and maintain accurate service records on a daily basis.

The role requires a valid CDL, high school diploma or GED, and at least two years of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate. You will work with supervision to improve routing efficiency and adhere to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or desired.
• Possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience or a CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.
• Ability to safely drive the truck and operate equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fully automated side loading truck on designated route and drive alone on public road.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain required route documentation.
• Report mechanical problems to supervisor immediately.
• Maintain route quality and comply with safety rules and company policy.
• Attend safety meetings and assist with branch activities as needed.
