Job summary

GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a commercial truck driver to operate frontload or ancillary equipment along designated routes, collecting waste and transporting it to disposal facilities.

You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain logs while engaging professionally with customers. This role requires a valid CDL and at least 1 year of driving experience, with emphasis on safety and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid CDL.
• Minimum of 1 year commercial truck driving experience or CDL school certificate.
• Must meet safety-sensitive criteria per company standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive frontline or ancillary equipment along designated routes to collect solid waste and take to facilities.
• Open container enclosures/gates; roll cans into position for dumping as needed.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections; submit vehicle condition reports.
• Interact courteously with customers; notify supervisor of issues requiring action.
• Maintain site cleanliness by removing loose trash around truck and dumping area.
