GFL Environmental Inc. is hiring a Driver to operate container delivery trucks and auxiliary equipment on assigned routes.

You will deliver and remove solid waste dumpsters, perform safety inspections, complete documentation, and report any issues promptly. The role requires a valid CDL, at least one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate, and the ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria.

Qualifications

• Clear, professional communication with customers and internal teams.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend documents and maps.
• Follow oral and written instructions accurately and safely.
• Willingness to adapt to changing routes and schedules.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repetitively with proper technique.
• Coordinate two limbs while seated or standing to operate equipment.

Responsabilités

• Operate container delivery truck and on-board hydraulic systems.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and required reports.
• Report mechanical issues to supervisor or mechanic immediately.
• Maintain route quality and keep yard inventory orderly.
• Position containers at customer locations to minimize hazards and secure lids.
• Follow safety standards and company policies at all times.
• Maintain clean vehicle interior and exterior and wear required PPE.
• Attend safety and branch meetings and participate in route improvements.
