Job summary

GFL Environmental is seeking a Residential Driver to safely, efficiently, and courteously provide waste removal services on curbside and backdoor routes in Texas.

You will operate a fully automated side loading truck, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain records, and communicate issues to supervision while working with minimal in-field supervision.

This role may require overtime and participation in safety meetings; a valid CDL is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is desirable.
• Valid CDL is required for driving duties.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fully automated side loading truck on assigned routes.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reports daily.
• Communicate vehicle issues to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain route quality and safety compliance.
