Job summary

GreenWaste is seeking to fill the position of Utility 1 Driver to safely operate company collection vehicles for residential and commercial routes from our Santa Clara facility. This full-time role requires routine pre- and post-trip inspections and strict adherence to safety rules to ensure reliable service.

Ongoing duties include rotating Saturday shifts, reading maps and work orders, and delivering professional, courteous customer service while keeping vehicles clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid CDL Class A or B and medical certificate.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Fill in on Residential, Commercial, and Roll-off Routes as needed.
• Work on rotating Saturdays.
• Safely operate collection vehicle on a designated route.
• Read work orders and maps to service customers identified on work orders.
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections in accordance with policies.
