Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver with a CDL B to operate a waste collection truck safely and efficiently. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete daily VCRs, and adhere to all state and federal regulations. The role requires courteous customer interactions and reliable route execution.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Safe operation of heavy trucks following company safety standards.
• Commitment to complete daily vehicle condition reports and adhere to regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the collection truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the packer and dispose of material at designated facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues.
• Identify unsatisfactory containers and tag per procedures.
• Monitor waste for unacceptable material and maintain vehicle readiness.
