Job summary

GreenWaste is seeking a Utility 1 Driver (Class B) to safely operate our collection vehicles for a range of residential and commercial routes from our Santa Clara location. You will read work orders, map routes, and provide professional service while adhering to DOT and company safety policies.

The role requires a current CDL (A or B) and a valid medical certificate, plus the ability to work on rotating Saturdays and through the early morning shift. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in commercial driving preferred.
• Must hold a current and valid CDL (Class A or B) and medical certificate.

Responsibilities

• Operate collection vehicles on designated residential/commercial routes.
• Read work orders and maps to service customers as assigned.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and report safety issues.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct daily housekeeping of the vehicle.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with all laws and regulations.
