Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver- CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck and provide prompt waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards, complete VCRs daily, and follow all regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post-operation inspections, route execution, loading refuse, and coordinating with customers and dispatch. A Class B CDL with air brakes is required, with pay range noted for multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections for tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment and gauges.
• Safely operate the trash collection truck on assigned routes and follow dispatch directions.
• Load refuse using packer controls and dispose at the designated facility.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag as required by procedures.
• Maintain daily vehicle readiness and complete route and safety reports (VCRs).
• Adhere to all safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
