Job summary

Amrize, a leading supplier of construction materials in the United States, seeks a Utility Operator to support asphalt division operations in Clinton, MD. You will operate a fuel truck, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with repairs to keep equipment safe and productive.

Qualified applicants have a High school diploma or GED, a CDL Class B with endorsements, and at least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or utility operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade program preferred.
• Minimum CDL Class B with endorsements; ability to operate manual and automatic transmissions.
• At least 3 years of hands-on heavy equipment maintenance or utility operations experience.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility equipment and vehicles used in asphalt operations.
• Drive a fuel truck safely and dispense fuel; CDL required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues and assist with repairs.
• Maintain records of fuel usage and equipment maintenance.
• Follow safety policies and wear PPE as required.
