Job summary

Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a skilled Utility Operator to support the Asphalt division in Clinton, MD. You will operate and maintain utility equipment, fuel trucks, and perform preventive maintenance to keep assets safe and reliable.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or GED, a CDL Class B with endorsements, and at least 3 years of heavy equipment experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities across our building materials network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade program preferred.
• CDL Class B with endorsements; ability to operate manual/automatic transmissions.
• Minimum 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance or utility operations.
• Experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain utility equipment and vehicles supporting daily asphalt operations.
• Operate a fuel truck and dispense fuel; CDL required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on asphalt equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and assist with repairs.
• Maintain records of fuel usage and equipment servicing.
• Follow safety procedures and environmental policies.
