Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Utility Operator to support asphalt division operations in Clinton, MD. You will operate and maintain utility equipment, fuel trucks, and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.

Minimum CDL Class B with endorsements is required, along with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment maintenance or utility operations. You will work in a safety-focused environment with opportunities for growth and training.

Qualifications

• Operate and maintain utility equipment and vehicles supporting daily asphalt operations.
• Operate the fuel truck and dispense fuel with CDL required.
• Perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.
• Maintain records of fuel usage and inspections.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE.
• Strong communication and teamwork with mechanics, operators, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, lubricate, and service heavy equipment at job sites and company facilities.
• Monitor equipment condition and report major mechanical issues.
• Assist mechanics and equipment operators with repairs and downtime minimization.
• Support diagnosis and troubleshooting of asphalt division equipment.
