Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a professional Linehaul Driver to operate tractor-trailer units and perform daily safety inspections. You will pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-points, interfacing with dispatch and handling required paperwork.

Starting pay includes linehaul and non-linehaul hourly rates, with potential overtime. Benefits include health, vision, dental, 401(k), tuition reimbursement and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• 1 year of driving experience within the last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• MVR must meet hiring standards and DOT FMC regulations compliance.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer including doubles; perform daily pre-trip inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies; verify documentation and maintain logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or problems to dispatch.
• Load/unload freight as required; comply with safety and DOT regulations.
• May perform duties of city driver or dock employee as needed.
