Job summary

FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a professional driver to pick up and deliver freight between Service Centers and customers and to support the selling process.

You will operate tractor-trailer combinations (including doubles/triples where applicable) or straight trucks, perform daily pre-trip inspections, hook/unhook trailers, and secure freight inside trailers while complying with DOT regulations. The position offers pay starting at $31.26 per hour with a potential increase up to $36.18 per hour;

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer and other vehicle types.
• Perform pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Secure freight with pallets, straps and rope.
• Complete required documentation and reports.
• Comply with DOT regulations.
