Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a CDL driver to operate heavy-duty trucks across residential and commercial routes. You will transport waste or recyclables to disposal or transfer facilities, mastering backing maneuvers and customer interactions in various environments.

Ideal candidates hold a CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement, have 1 year of driving experience, and can read, write, and speak English proficiently. A strong safety record and post-trip reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement.
• 1 year CDL driving experience or 1 year military driving within last 7 years.
• Able to read, write and speak English well for communication and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks per WM safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe conditions or service issues to management.
• Attend trainings and participate in route optimization and daily briefings.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and checkout; assist other drivers when needed.
