Job summary

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a Transportation Manager to lead CDL-A driver teams with a safety-first approach. You will coach drivers, ensure compliance with DOT rules, and collaborate with senior leaders to improve performance and efficiency.

The role requires 3+ years in transportation/delivery, a strong leadership presence, and familiarity with scheduling and fleet coordination. A CDL-A license is highly preferred, with travel and shifting schedules during onboarding.

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of experience in transportation/delivery or warehouse distribution.
Experience overseeing a workforce is required.
Active CDL-A license highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations for drivers, customers and public.
Oversee and develop drivers and Transportation associates through coaching, policy training and performance reviews.
Create plans to address performance gaps after discussion with Sr. Transportation Managers.
Supervise work and productivity within the Transportation department and drive engagement.
