Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver Trainee in the United States. The role guides you through a comprehensive CDL training program to qualify for a Driver position across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off lines of business.

You will gain hands-on experience, including classroom study, on-route training, and access to a loaner truck to prepare for the CDL examination. After earning your CDL, you will complete a 12-month employment period and transition into a Driver role.

Qualifications

• No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial driver’s license.
• Must be able to attend pre-paid CDL training at Republics Technical Institute in Dallas, TX for 5 days.
• Willing to sign a 1-year contractual agreement.

Responsibilities

• Complete CDL training program including classroom, on-route training, and CDL exam preparation.
• One-year employment commitment after obtaining a CDL.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections per policy.
