Job summary

The CDL Program Coordinator at The Technical College of the Lowcountry coordinates, administers, and supports the CDL training program. Responsibilities include student enrollment, scheduling, documentation, regulatory compliance, and communication with students, instructors, employers, and partners.

They oversee daily operations, budget forecasting, and inventory management for CDL equipment and labs, ensuring safety and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required.
• Preferred: an additional associate degree or related accreditation.
• Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily CDL program operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining accurate records.
• Forecast budget and inventory; manage equipment, supplies, and training labs to support instructional needs and safety compliance.
• Coordinate communications with state agencies, testing providers, workforce agencies, and industry partners.
• Build relationships with regional employers, transportation companies, workforce development agencies, school districts, and community organizations to support recruitment and employment opportunities.
• Assist with program marketing, outreach, recruitment events, information sessions, and community engagement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
