The CDL Program Coordinator at Technical College of the Lowcountry coordinates, administers, and supports the daily operations of the CDL training program. Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and relevant program experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the CDL program, ensuring the program runs efficiently, safely, and is in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation. Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness.
• Forecast equipment, supply, and personnel needs to meet instructional and operational goals. Maintain an accurate inventory of all CDL equipment, vehicles, tools, and supplies, ensuring materials are adequately stocked for instructional needs.
• Ensure training labs and facilities are properly equipped to meet program demands. Ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate communication with appropriate state agencies, testing providers, workforce agencies, and other regulatory or industry partners, as applicable.
• Establish and maintain relationships with regional employers, transportation companies, workforce development agencies, school districts, and community organizations to support program recruitment and employment opportunities.
• Assist with program marketing, outreach, recruitment events, information sessions, and community engagement activities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
