The role emphasizes safety, on‑the‑road professionalism, and mentoring less‑experienced drivers. CDL is required, with at least one year of driving or a CDL‑school certificate, and the ability to back up 120+ feet using mirrors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL required.
• 1 year trucking experience or CDL school certificate.
• Ability to safely operate equipment and back up 120+ feet using mirrors.
• Outdoor work in all weather; sit ~75% of day; lift up to 25 lbs regularly, 100 lbs occasionally.
• Adaptable to changing daily routes with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of trucks (auto and manual) on different routes.
• Fill gaps for different routes to ensure reliable service.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections and reports.
• Report mechanical issues to maintenance and keep trucks clean.
• Lead route Helpers and mentor newer drivers when applicable.
• Interact professionally with customers and the public on the road.
