LAZ Parking is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver to provide safe transportation for patients, visitors, and staff at Medstar Washington Hospital. This role requires a valid CDL with a passenger endorsement and 2+ years of experience, plus the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

The position offers an hourly rate of $21.50 with full/part-time options and a schedule that may include weekends. Candidates must pass DOT physicals and meet regulatory standards while ensuring passenger

Responsibilities

• Assist passengers boarding and exiting, including ADA passengers if applicable.
• Communicate effectively and work in a team to maximize productivity.
• Work self-sufficiently while performing daily driving tasks.

CDL Shuttle Driver

Location: Medstar Washington Hospital

Hourly Rate: $21.50/HR + Full/Part-time Available

Schedule: Monday to Friday (Contact for Details) + MUST have CDL for 2+ years (minimally) w/ passenger endorsement

Spirit of the Position:

A LAZ Commercial Drivers are responsible for the effective, efficient and safe transportation, loading and unloading of passengers & employees to and from the assigned destinations, and to ensure that all activities support the safety and welfare of all passengers.

Principle Job Duties:

• Safely operating company vehicles.
  
• G.E.T. 100 (Greet, Engage, and Thank the Guest - 100% of the time).
  
• Assist passengers when boarding and exiting the vehicle including ADA passengers, if applicable.
  
• Effectively communicating and working in a team environment to achieve maximum productivity.
  
• Demonstrate the ability to work self-sufficiently while performing daily tasks as a professional driver.
  

Requirements:

• 2+ years with a CDL w/ passenger endorsement
• Class A/B license ONLY
• Comply with Federal DOT, State and Local Rules/Regulations, and Company Policy.
  
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  
• Valid Commercial Driver's License with passenger endorsement.
• Valid Medical Card or ability to successfully perform and pass a DOT physical examination.
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays.
  

Physical Demands:

• Ability to physically push/pull/lift to 50lbs
  
• Ability to bend at the knees or squat frequently throughout a shift.
  
• Willingness to work in inclement weather (rain, sleet, snow, heat, high wind, etc.)
