Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Lockbourne) seeks a CDL Shuttle Driver on the E shift to operate a semi-tractor trailer, loading and delivering to the plant and warehouse, with safety and quality at the forefront. You will follow all laws, maintain records, communicate with the operations team, and perform routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance.

The role requires a Class A/B CDL, a clean driving record, DOT medical card, and at least two years of tractor-trailer

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and maintain valid medical certificate.
• Must pass road and backing test during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicle on each trip following laws and company policy.
• Maintain records for trailer numbers and vehicle positions.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and follow safety procedures.
• Communicate with operations via phone or radio in a professional manner.
• Perform daily inspections and minor maintenance on equipment.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse and yard security.
