Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Lockbourne) is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver for the Kitting B Shift (2 PM-10:30 PM). You will operate a semi-tractor trailer to load and deliver products safely, following all safety and quality procedures.

Requirements include a Class A or B CDL, a clean driving record, DOT medical certificate, and at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience. The role offers full-time hours and opportunities within a global logistics leader.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and maintain valid medical certificate.
• Must pass road and backing test during onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the shuttle vehicle on each trip and follow all applicable laws and company policy.
• Maintain records of trailer numbers and vehicle positions.
• Interact with warehouse supervisors and comply with safety requirements during shifts.
• Communicate with operations via cellular phone or 2-way radio in a courteous and professional manner.
• Mate and position trucks for loading/unloading and place safety chocks when needed.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance as required.
• Assist in maintaining security of the warehouse and yard.
