Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Lancaster, OH, is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver (Thu-Sun, 6am–4:30pm) to operate a semi-tractor trailer for loading and delivering goods between the plant and the warehouse.

You will follow safety, quality, and work instructions while maintaining records and communicating with warehouse teams. The role requires a valid CDL, hazmat endorsement, a clean driving record, and at least two years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have tractor trailer experience.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must have 2 years, verifiable, tractor trailer experience, within the past 4 years.
• Hazmat endorsement is required for the role.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate shuttle vehicle on every trip following laws and company policy.
• Maintain records involving trailer numbers and vehicle position.
• Coordinate daily with warehouse supervisors and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate with operations via cellular phone or 2-way radio in a courteous manner.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions with proper wheel chocks.
• Follow airline/electrical hookup and backing procedures.
• Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse and yard security.
