Job summary

DSV in Lancaster, USA is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver to operate a semi-tractor trailer for loading and delivery between plant and warehouse, following safety, quality, and work instructions. You will work 2pm-10:30pm, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspection, maintaining records, coordinating with warehouse staff, and communicating professionally via radio or phone. A clean driving record and Hazmat endorsement are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have 2 years verifiable tractor trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Hazmat endorsement required.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the shuttle vehicle on each trip following laws and company policy.
• Maintain records for trailer numbers and vehicle positions.
• Interact with warehouse supervisors and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate with operations via cellular or 2-way radio in a courteous manner.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and place wheel chocks as needed.
• Follow airline/electrical hookup and backing procedures and company policies.
