Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in the USA (Lockbourne) is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver for the 8 PM–6:30 AM shift. You will operate a semi-tractor trailer, loading and delivering to the plant and warehouse in accordance with safety and quality standards.

The role requires a Class A/B CDL, a high school diploma or GED, at least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and a valid DOT medical certificate.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must have a Class A or B CDL.
• Minimum 2 years of verified tractor-trailer experience within the past 4 years.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must meet DOT physical requirements and maintain valid medical certificate.
• Must pass road and backing test during onboarding.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months.

Responsibilities

• Operate the shuttle vehicle safely on each trip and follow all laws and company policy.
• Maintain records with trailer numbers and vehicle positions.
• Coordinate with warehouse supervisors and comply with safety requirements.
• Communicate with operations using cell phone or 2-way radio in a courteous manner.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance as needed.
• Work overtime as required by the business.
