Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a mature, punctual individual with a CDL and passenger vehicle endorsement, and a clean driving record.

The driver will transport students and volunteers, ensure bus safety and cleanliness, follow all laws, and participate in required trainings and background checks. Part-time position with non-exempt hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P).
• School bus endorsement (S) preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in 5 years.
• Pass FMCSA Clearinghouse, MVR, and background checks.
• Must complete pre-employment and random drug testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and drive safely.
• Maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children; enforce safety rules.
