Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a LifeWise CDL bus driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for public school students to and from the LifeWise site. The ideal candidate is responsible, punctual, and maintains a clean driving record.

The role requires a CDL with passenger endorsement, a School bus endorsement if possible, and successful completion of background and drug tests. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with a focus on student safety.

Qualifications

• CDL license with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) is required.
• School bus endorsement (S) is preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or traffic citations in the last 5 years.
• 21–80 years old; those over 75 must annually submit CDL copy and P endorsement.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing required.
• Active church involvement per LifeWise Faith.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus safety and cleanliness.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a safe, calm environment for students and enforce safety rules.
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom activities if agreed.
