Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a valid CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement and, preferably, a School bus endorsement, along with a clean driving record.

Candidates must be mature, punctual, faithful to LifeWise beliefs, and willing to undergo background checks and drug/alcohol testing, ensuring safety and reliability in daily transportation.

Qualifications

• CDL license with endorsement for passenger vehicle required.
• Must have been licensed for the past three years.
• Active church involvement and faith alignment with LifeWise beliefs.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents or citations in 5 years.
• Background check and drug/alcohol testing as required.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refueling as needed.
• Create a safe environment for students and enforce safety rules.
• Assist students entering/exiting the bus and monitor behavior.
