Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport students and volunteers to and from the LifeWise site. The role requires a valid CDL with a passenger vehicle endorsement, a clean driving record, and commitment to LifeWise beliefs.

Responsibilities include safe driving, bus inspections, and maintaining a respectful, calm environment for children. Training is provided; optional classroom volunteering may be available.

Qualifications

• Mature Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• CDL license held continuously for past 3 years; P endorsement required; S endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and mechanical safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for students; enforce safety rules and assist with entering/exiting the vehicle.
• Complete required LifeWise Academy training and participate in classroom volunteering if arranged.
