Job summary

LifeWise Academy is hiring a part-time CDL bus driver to transport public school students and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site in Collierville, TN. The role requires a responsible, punctual driver with a clean driving record and CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement; a school bus endorsement is a plus.

Responsibilities include safe driving, bus inspections, refueling, and enforcing safety rules while maintaining a supportive environment for students.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement is required.
• School bus endorsement preferred.
• Clean driving record with no at-fault incidents in five years.
• Background check and FMCSA Clearinghouse clearance required.
• Drug and/or alcohol testing part of pre-employment and ongoing program.

Responsibilities

• Transport students and volunteers to and from LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws and maintain bus cleanliness and safety.
• Perform regular bus inspections and refuel as needed.
• Create a calm, caring environment and assist students entering/exiting.
