Job summary

LifeWise Academy is seeking a part-time CDL bus driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. Responsibilities include safety, maintaining a clean vehicle, and following all traffic laws while supporting a calm, caring environment for students.

The ideal candidate has a valid CDL with Passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• CDL with passenger vehicle endorsement (P) required.
• School bus endorsement (S) preferred.
• Age 21–80 years; annual CDL license and endorsement verification for those over 75.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children.
