Job summary

WM (Waste Management) seeks a CDL driver to operate heavy-duty trucks for residential, commercial, or roll-off pickups. You will follow DOT rules, perform inspections, and ensure safe, timely service across assigned routes.

The role requires starting at 2:00am on a 4x10 schedule (Sunday–Saturday) with on-the-job training and career growth opportunities. WM offers comprehensive benefits and a people-first culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently for public interaction and reports.
• Pre-employment drug screen and physical.
• CDL A or B with air-brake endorsement required or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks in residential, commercial, or roll-off service.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor.
• Attend required training and participate in route optimization efforts.
• Complete end-of-day paperwork and adhere to route assignments.
• Provide safe, clean, and timely pickup of waste or recyclable materials.
