WM (Waste Management) in Florida is hiring commercial drivers to operate heavy-duty trucks for residential, commercial, and roll-off collections. The role requires a CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement, a clean driving record, and the ability to start at 4am on weekdays.

Qualifications include 1 year of CDL driving or military driving within the last 7 years, 18+ years old, and English proficiency to interact with customers and complete records. Pre-employment screening is required.

Qualifications

• 1 year operating a vehicle requiring a CDL
• 1 year equivalent military driving within the last 7 years
• Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the country where the position is located
• Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to interact with the public, understand traffic signs, respond to official questions, and complete records or reports
• Successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug screen and physical
• CDL Class A with an air-brake endorsement or CDL Class B with an air-brake endorsement

Responsabilités

• Operates vehicle in accordance with Safety and Life Critical Rules and DOT requirements
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Reports unsafe situations or service-related issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch
• Attends and participates in scheduled trainings and meetings
• Works to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices
• Notifies of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage
• Communicates customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch
• Completes end-of-day documentation and checkout process
• Performs duties as scheduled and assists other drivers to meet customer needs
