Job summary

Norco, Inc. is hiring a CDL Route Delivery Driver, Industrial Store in Ogden, UT. The role delivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels, with weekly customer stops and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Home every night, with a $1,500 signing bonus for eligible full-time direct hires. Responsibilities include daily route organization, loading/unloading, data entry, invoicing, and providing excellent customer service while promoting welding and safety products.

Qualifications

• Hazmat Endorsement required.
• 1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferred.
• No at-fault accidents or DOT moving violations in past 3 years.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Knowledge of hazardous materials hauling.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver daily route efficiently.
• Load and unload freight and gas cylinders; complete truck manifest and invoices.
• Deliver freight and gas cylinders to customers on weekly stops.
• Take basic customer orders and provide product knowledge.
• Process orders and assist with stock and shelving as needed.
• Greet customers professionally and maintain safety standards.

Norco, Inc. is currently offering a signing bonus of $1,500.00 for this position. Details of the signing bonus can be discussed during the interview. (Applies to full-time direct new hires only)

Norco is currently seeking an individual to fill ourIndustrial CDL Route Delivery Driver position. TheIndustrial CDL Route Delivery Driverdelivers and exchanges full cylinders and liquid vessels for empty ones. Industrial CDL Route Delivery Driver also delivers freight to customers on a weekly route stop.

Schedule is Monday through Friday and home every night.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Efficiently organizedelivery route on a daily basis
• Load and unload freight and accurately fills out truck manifest
• Load and unload cylinders
• Accurately fill out gas invoices
• Deliver freight and gas cylinders to customers
• Take basic orders from customers when needed
• Greet customers in a professional and enthusiastic way
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of products. placement, availability, price and use
• Sell welding and safety products and services to customer
• Process customer orders and accurately input customer order into the computer
• Research products needed for customer special applications
• Follow up on customer orders not processed correctly and remedy situation
• Stock shelves when needed
• Generate sales quotes to customers
• Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary

Qualifications

• Minimum Class B CDL license with HazmatEndorsement
• 1 year verifiable city delivery experience preferred
• No at fault accidents or DOT moving violations resulting in suspensionin the past 3 years
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or carry objects weighing over 100 lbs
• Knowledge of hauling hazardous material
• Ability to accurately enter data into computer
• Excellent customer service skills
• Good working knowledge of all industrial products and gases
• Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time
• Minimum 21 years of age
